Live India Vs Afghanistan Twenty Twenty Match - T20 World Cup
New Zealand and West Indies made a winning start to the tournament, for New zealand it was a heard fight whic they somehow managed to win in the end with one ball to spare. For West Indies it was a easy win hopefully this win will boost there hopes and home advantage is the next big thing for the carribean team.
Below are the final scores of both T20 world cup matches:
New Zealand 139 for 8 (Ryder 42, Murali 2-25) beat Sri Lanka 135 for 6 (Jayawardene 81) by two wickets
West Indies 138 for 9 (Sammy 30, Dockrell 3-16) beat Ireland 68 (Sammy 3-8, Rampaul 3-17) by 70 runs
Today the third match of the tournament will be played between the winners of the First T20 world cup in 2007 and the debutants Afghanistan. Afghanistan team will be playing to mark up there place in world of cricket and in case they manage to cause a setback it would be good for a country whic in already in trouble for various reasons.
I personaly wish Afghanistan makes it to next round of the tournament atleast, a new coutry needs such thing to boos cricket there. Wheather they win or not is a secondary thing Afghanistan team should play to give a real fight to the Indian team. Match should not be a single sided match.

Another match will be played today between the defending champions Pakistan and Bangladesh.
India Beat Bangladesh 2-0
As predicted Gautam Gambhir will not have any chance of chasing a bit target and hence will not be able to equal Sir Don Dradman's record of 6 consecutive centuries in test cricket. The best part of thhis test series was Zaheer Khan getting Man of the match and man of the series award. Its very rare to see a bowler getting this award on batting friendly picthes.
Injuries are what India have got along with the winners trophy. Yuvraj Singh will be out got the first test match againse South Africa. Other players who got injured are Sreesanth, VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid. Let see will the injuries cause any trouble for the indian cricket team for the comming series against South Africa. Future tours of indian cricket team
After winning one day series in Sri Lanka and tomorrows T20 match, Indian cricket team has two competitive cricket series to play. First is the India tour of NewZealand in February, March & April 2009 and in June- July Indian cricket team will tour Carribean Islands to one one day series against West Indies.

India vs Sri Lanka : Historic series win
After twenty twenty world cup win MS Dhoni added one more feather to his cap as Indian cricket team got its first ever one day international bilateral series win against and at Sri Lanka by 3-2. In this series win batting has been a matter of concern for Indian cricket team as in the absence of senior players like Sachin Tendulkar and attacking opener Virender Sehwag etc sometimes batsmen failed to get a solid start and whenever they got a good start middle order failed to keep the momentum going on.

India beat Sri Lanka in the first one day by Six wickets (India 247 for 4 (Gambhir 62, Raina 54, Dhoni 61*) beat Sri Lanka 246 for 6 (Jayasuriya 107, Ishant 3-51) by six wickets). highlights of the match was century by Sanath Jasurya who was also selected man of the march.
Highlights from the match:
- Sanath Jaysurya now holds the world record for being the oldest cricketer to score a century t the age of 39 in one day cricket.
- On reaching the score of 37, Jaysurya also became the second man to reach the 13,000 runs mark.
- Jaysurya crossed the score of 50 runs for the 95th time in his career goin ahead of Saurav Ganguly and now only Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is ahead him who has 132 times crossed the score of 50.
- Highest individual score at Dambulla cricket stadium.

ICC T20 World Cup - Super eights
Ireland defeated Bangladesh by six wickets and has now qualified for the super eights, Indian team also qualified for the super eights. Both the teams had defeated Bangladesh and are pending one match to be played against each other before entering the next round of the tournament. Other teams to qualify for Super eights so far is England
In another match being played between Sri Lanka and Australia, Australia had set a target of 160 to win and if Sri Lanka defeats Aussies they will be knocked out from the very first round of the tournament. Also postign below som of the pictures and wallpapers from theICC Twenty Twenty world cup:

As Predicted in my previous post, Sri Lanka beat Pakistan & also second match is going to be a closed one. But I guess my second prediction will be wrong as Harbhajan Singh just bowled a maiden over. Another good news is that destructive Chris Gayle is bowled out by Y.K. Pathan. For Indian batting Yuvraj Singh played a crucial role by hitting 67 runs. India Vs Australia Series updates
7 matches series is tied ar 2-2 wins each for India and Australia. Indian team have been pulled to back seat by Australia who defeated the favorites for Mohali one day match in a low scoring encounter. Good news for team India is that the consistent performer in every format of the game batsmen Gautam Gambhir has been declared fit for tomorrows match at Hyderabad. Whereas Australian team is still worried about the injuries.

India Vs South Afrtica day 3 - Fast bowlers derail Indian Batting
3 Indian top order batsmen are back ot the pavilion. Sehwag and S Badrinath are at the crease currently, with Sehwag playing on 50 nad S Badrinath on 9. Hopefully India will manager to bat till tomorrow morning first session and save this test. Remember this series win is must for both team s for Idnia to retain the number one test team position and for South Africa to achieve the number one position.

Mumbai Indian Semi finals IPL T 20
Well Mumbai Indians have become the first team to enter the semi finals of IPL there and this is the first time the Mumbai India. This is the first time they have entered the semi-finals of the IPL. I've predicted the same in the second post I made for IPL and was expecting Mumbai Indian to do well this time.
