Yusuf Pathan showed some heroics, scoring 105 runs but couldn't win the match for India. As a result Proteas won the ODI series 3-2. One of the most expensive cricketer on planet blasted 8 fours and 8 sixes in his 70 ball innings. But Morkel had him caught,who had 3 other wickets as well.
The match was reduced to 46 overs after rain in which South Africa batting first scored 250. Amala who had great series scored 116*.
Dhoni said it was disappointing series for batsman but bowlers performed really well while Smith said it was terrific to sign out with the series and they have a really good chance at the World Cup.
Earlier test series was drawn and T20 was won by India. So overall it was pretty even series, entertaining as well!!
